Rock in Rio Lisboa is back to celebrate 20 years of the festival in Portugal, which in 2024 has brought many new features. One of the most notable is the change of venue for RIR, which was previously held in Bela Vista and which, in this edition, has been moved to the new City of Rock, located in Parque do Tejo! A place that we can say was handpicked for the celebration of these 20 years of history in Portugal.
And we at Metal Junkbox had the privilege of covering the first day of the celebration, the long-awaited day of rock.
With all the tickets sold out, we had a sensational day, a day that above all was a great tribute to hard rock lovers, with performances, songs and epic moments that will surely remain in the memories of the 80,000 people who entered the venue.
