The talented musician Jager Henry has just released his latest album "Heart of Thorns" on August 23rd. It features eight tracks spread over just over twenty-one minutes of pure intensity, energy and brutality blended exquisitely with incredible, well-crafted melodies.
Jager Henry was born in the UK, but spent his formative years in Florida. The grandson of iconic LED ZEPPELIN drummer John Bonham and son of Jason Bonham, it's clear from listening to their debut album that talent comes from the blood and that everything here flows very naturally with emotion, feeling and attitude, something that has been sorely lacking in today's metal scene.
With their unique vocals, expressive lyrics and brutal energy, they present a very cohesive and incredibly mature blend of punk rock and alternative metal that works from the second track "Heart of Thorns" to the last second of the album. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the single "Bite Down", which goes hand in hand with everything we've written above - bold, modern, melodic and powerful when it needs to be, it's a great calling card.
Tracks like "Lighthouse", "Mortal Sacrifice" and "closer to heaven", featuring Noah Thomas, are other great examples of the creativity and identity that Jager Henry presents in his debut album, something that really impresses.
