Straight from Germany, one of the greatest granaries of magnificent bands on the planet, the German band Hjort has just released its latest single entitled "VIII" on January 2nd.
It's important here to point out the sheer technical quality of the musicians involved, the melodies, riffs and composition of this epic of just over nine minutes, in which the band presents a post-metal base while managing to insert doses of progressive, black and dark metal, creating an icy, dense and wonderful atmosphere to listen to. This is an exquisite piece of work from a band we're sure to hear a lot about this year, so stay tuned.
