Formed in mid-2004 in Rio de Janeiro, Pagan Throne recently released their single "The Son of the Sea", which is part of their sixth studio album Land of the Greeks, released in 2023.
Presenting a vast sound, the quintet manages to blend influences from various metal genres, such as elements of black metal, folk and symphonic metal, with themes centred on paganism, Nordic mythology and ancient civilizations, creating an overwhelming identity and a brutal atmosphere. Pagan Throne's work is well worth checking out, with thirteen cohesive and well-crafted tracks.
