The Troops of Doom - A Mass to the Grotesque

Troops of Doom have just released their second studio album, the brutal "A Mass To The Grotesque", on the Portuguese label Alma Mater Records.

The band formed by Alex Kafer (vocals and bass), Jairo "Tormentor" Guedz (guitar), Marcelo Vasco (guitar) and Alexandre Oliveira (drums) began their work in 2020 and in these four years we have seen them working in high rotation, with two great EP's released and the debut album Antichrist Reborn released in 2022, that is to say creativity and willingness to work are not lacking in the guys.

The second album was produced by André Moraes and mixed by none other than Jim Morris, one of the big names in Florida death metal. When it comes to "A Mass To The Grotesque", we are clearly looking at the consolidation of a band that is here to stay and is winning over more and more fans around the world. With a sound based on a blend of death and thrash metal with precise and violent riffs and solos, it's hard to find anything here that would displease a lover of extreme metal.

With eleven songs, A Mass To The Grotesque keeps the flame going for almost fifty minutes, not letting the ball drop at any time, knowing how to insert melodies when they need to and kicking ass most of the time, the impact here is imminent!
