The Mysterines at Lisboa ao Vivo, 2024

British alternative rock band The Mysterines played their first concert in Portugal last July 23rd at LAV.

They opened the concert with the song Sink Ya Teeth from their first album Reeling, released on
2022 and immediately captured the audience's attention with their mysterious energy and
dramatic. The voice of the magnificent Lia Metcalfe completely fills the space with her
a calm but powerful sound.

As time went by, the sharing between stage and audience became more and more apparent, turning the LAV into a space for dancing to the rhythm of the music, with shouts of enthusiasm mixed in. The audience quickly filled the space with their mood alone.

When the band finished playing Stray from their new album released in June this year, which they had announced would be their last song, the audience didn't let the show stop there and insisted on asking for an encore, never letting their enthusiasm wane. The band didn't refuse and returned for an intimate and cozy moment, in which all the members of the group gathered at the front of the stage to finish with Afraid of Tomorrows, mesmerizing the audience in the best possible way, leaving an immediate longing and desire for more.
