American band Slipknot is the first confirmation for the Evil Live festival, which will take place at the Restelo Stadium in Lisbon from June 27 to 29.
The Evil Live festival has confirmed Slipknot as the first band on the line-up for the 2025 edition. The metal band returns to Portugal two years after their last visit to the country, where they performed at the 2023 edition, which took place at the MEO Arena in Lisbon.
Slipknot were founded in 1995 in Des Moines, Iowa. Since then they have been nominated for 11 Grammys, music's most prestigious awards, and won Best Metal Performance in 2005 for "Before I Forget". And now they have ex-Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande, who was recently voted by Modern Drummer magazine as the best metal drummer of 2024. This was the 46th edition of the magazine's vote, in which Eloy had already won in the same category in 2021.
