Comeback Kid celebrates 20 years of "Wake The Dead" in Portugal

Hell Xis, in partnership with Avocado Booking, presents the return to Portugal of the legendary Comeback Kid, for what promises to be a very special celebration of the 20th anniversary of the classic "Wake The Dead".

Born in 2001 in Winnipeg, Canada, Comeback Kid are one of the biggest names in Hardcore Punk worldwide and their concerts are always of an unparalleled intensity and energy, with a perfect and chilling symbiosis between band and audience. Over the years the quintet has managed to balance the "Do It Yourself" spirit with a reliability and musicality that define a genre, breaking down barriers and boundaries and transporting an entire movement to a more global and comprehensive scene. They have 7 original albums to their name, with the highlight of the evening being their 2005 album, which will be played in its entirety.

Confirmed to open the evening are the Portuguese Devil In Me, another true hardcore-punk institution with a strong connection to Comeback Kid. With 20 years of activity recently celebrated, the national band guarantees high quality whenever they are on stage, leaving no one indifferent. They'll be bringing their recent "On The Grind", the band's fifth full-length, still very fresh, but the classics from two decades of activity are guaranteed to be there.
